Shop Mistakenly Puts TV Worth Rs 31,500 For Sale At Rs 2,450, Customers Refuse To Pay Or Leave

Customers at a French retail store were left furious after a seemingly a generous deal on televisions turned out to be a huge blunder.

Géant Casino in the southern city of Montpellier, accidentally priced the TVs at €30.99 (Rs 2,450) while it was actually €399 (Rs 31,500).

The initial deal spread on social media like wildfire, and a swarm of people showed up at the store to grab the cheap TV, until they found out the truth.

“We are located right across from the Géant Casino checkout lines. I saw a lot of police and a crowd of people,” Fox News quoted Jean-Christophe, who works inside the shopping mall as saying,

He added that some people had four or five televisions in their shopping trolley.

When the staff denied selling the television sets at the advertised price, customers became angry and refused to leave the store until they were allowed to make the purchase on the bargain price.
